The Spirax Sarco IBV Series C is a vertical inverted bucket steam trap with a carbon steel body and cover and stainless steel internals, built for high-pressure, high-temperature service on saturated or superheated steam. The mechanism moves with minimal friction and the valve closes immediately, so it resists waterhammer and can be fitted with an inlet check valve for superheat duty.
